DURHAM, N.C.—Duke fifth-year men's lacrosse senior Sean Lowrie scored 1:12 into overtime to lift the 13th-ranked Blue Devils to a thrilling 16-15 overtime win over No. 13 Richmond Friday night at Koskinen Stadium. Blue Devil rookie Dyson Williams was perhaps the story of the game though with a game-high seven goals.
Williams' seven goals are the most by a Blue Devil since fellow Canadian Zack Greer scored seven against St. John's May 4, 2008. The tally from Lowrie was his only of the night, finishing with a goal and an assist.
