E.J. Montgomery, the five-star power forward from Marietta, Ga. is planning a trip back to the Triangle. Montgomery, who’s 6-10 and 200 pounds made unofficial visits to North Carolina and Duke last week.
Now the No. 12 recruit in the nation plans to make official visits to both schools before making a final decision, according to ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.
Montgomery sat courtside for UNC’s 83-66 win over Notre Dame on Feb. 12. Two days later, on Feb. 14, Montgomery, the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports, attended Duke’s 74-52 win over Virginia Tech.
