The funny thing about Duke’s getting a commitment from Trevor Keels is that it’s really hard to know what it means yet.
Obviously it means adding a talented and strong shooting guard, but with what Coach K called the Wild West atmosphere this year with the waves of transfers and the NCAA’s bonus year, it’s just impossible to know how things will ultimately sort out.
Obviously that refers to players who might still decide to leave. Duke has lost Jalen Johnson, quite early, Jaemyn Brakefield, Jordan Goldwire and Patrick Tapé to transfer, and then DJ Steward decided to chance his luck in the NCAA.
