DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke men’s lacrosse coaching staff held its second coaching clinic of 2017 Tuesday night in the Murray Building Team Room. The trio of John Danowski, Matt Danowski and Ned Crotty talked at length about fundamentals, reassessing the Duke team after a scrimmage and other simple aspects of coaching.
“The secret is. There is no secret.” This was a big theme for the clinic. They talked about sticking to basics and that’s the recipe to a lot of Duke’s success because if it is not good at the small things, then the Blue Devils won’t be successful in the bigger picture.
