DURHAM – Duke track and field senior Isabel Wakefield has been selected as the ACC Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week following a historical individual performance in the heptathlon at the Texas Relays this past weekend.
Wakefield totaled a career-best 5,850 points to finish as the event runner-up, improving her previous event score by 883 points while catapulting into second all-time at Duke in the process. The senior's overall performance also included personal-best performances across three events, beginning with a blazing run of 13.26 seconds – No. 3 all-time at Duke – in the 100m hurdles to open the event.
