Since leaving Virginia Tech for Texas A&M, Buzz Williams has had an average record. His first season was 16-14 while his Covid season was 8-10, leaving him at 24-24 overall.
This year though he has picked up several transfers, notably former Blue Devil Henry Coleman, but also Wyoming guard Marcus Williams, as well as important frontcourt pieces in 6-11 UConn transfer Javonte Brown-Ferguson, 6-8 Arkansas transfer Ethan Henderson, and 6-6 Jalen Johnson from Mississippi State.
Now though he has a potential game changer, if you will, who comes from his last coaching stop: Virginia Tech’s Tyrece Radford.
