The following is an excerpt from Paul Dehner Jr.'s feature in The Cincinnati Enquirer:
In every meeting, whether for linebackers or special teams, linebacker Chris Carter sits next to Vinny Rey. He pays such close attention to how Rey learns, Carter can joke about idiosyncrasies he spots in his notebook.
“He talks to himself in his notes,” Carter said with a smile. “He’s like, ‘You have to do better with this. You could have shored up on that. Good hit. Use your hands more.’”
Carter takes notes the same way.
