LANCASTER, Pa. – The United States women’s field hockey team topped Chile in a recent three-game series ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games.
Former Blue Devil standouts Lauren Blazing and Stefanie Fee were both in action for Team USA. Fee, a 2011 graduate of Duke, helped the U.S. preserve a 2-0 shutout in the opening contest with a solid defensive move on a Chile penalty corner attempt.
Team USA earned another shutout in the second contest, winning by a 2-0 margin once again before taking the final match by a 2-1 score Thursday.
