USA Dominates Germany, Barrett Tallies Five Points

HONG KONG - Duke women's lacrosse sophomore Caitlin Barrett tallied four goals and an assist for five points as the United States opened its quest for the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's U20 Championship on Friday. The United States dominated Germany, 33-0, as it began its defense of the gold medal.

The U.S. showed off as the tournament's favorite, not allowing Germany a single shot throughout the night. Sixteen different players scored for the USA among its star-studded roster.

The United States won the draw control battle, 30-4, and outshot its opponent 43-0.
