DURHAM, N.C.—Duke's Turner Uppgren turned in his best performance of the season between the pipes at Loyola Saturday and has in turn been selected as the ACC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The honor is the first for Uppgren this season and the third of his career.
Duke picks up the ACC Defensive Player of the Week award for the second consecutive week after JT Giles-Harris garnered recognition last week.
Uppgren, a second-year starter, returned in net at No. 11 Loyola after not playing against Furman and was outstanding, making a season-high 15 saves.
