DURHAM – Pool play at the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship concluded Monday evening with the United States emerging atop Pool A with a perfect 4-0 record. Canada is the runner-up in the group with its lone loss coming to the host country.
Representing the Blue Devils on the international stage for the United States are current senior Brennan O'Neill and former standouts JT Giles-Harris and Michael Sowers. Duke head coach John Danowski is the United States head coach.
Duke graduate student Dyson Williams is donning the Canadian uniform, while former Blue Devil Taylor Wray serves as one of the coaches of the squad.
