Tyus Jones Joins Freshmen Teammates Okafor and Winslow in 2015 NBA Draft

Tyus Jones has officially announced that he will be leaving Duke to pursue a professional basketball career in the NBA, joining his classmates Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow. Many NBA sources have been split on T. Jones declaring for the draft this year or staying in school, but he’s widely projected to be a mid to late first round pick.

Jones had an excellent freshman year, averaging 11.8 points, 5.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. He has the highest assist-to-turnover ratio ever for a Blue Devil in their freshman season with 2.86 assists to each turnover and is only the 2nd freshman in Duke history to have at least 400 points and 200 assists.
