Tyus Jones Declares for 2015 NBA Draft

After helping Duke win a national championship, Tyus Jones will now take his talents to the next level.

The freshman point guard, who’s fresh off winning the Final Four Most Outstanding Player award, will forego his final three years of eligibility and declare for the 2015 NBA Draft.

Jones’ draft status was uncertain for much of the season, but after an outstanding NCAA Tournament, in which he won the MOP awards in both the South Region and the Final Four, it’s hard to imagine his stock being much higher than it is right now. He was brilliant in the national championship game against Wisconsin on Monday night, with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field, including going 7-of-7 from the free throw line and 2-of-3 from 3-point range.
