GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Duke men’s tennis team had two players earn All-ACC honors in a vote of the league’s coaches, according to an announcement by the conference office Thursday. Redshirt junior Nicolas Alvarez was a first team selection while sophomore Nick Stachowiak was a third team pick. The all-league honor is the third for Alvarez and first for Stachowiak.
Alvarez, ranked No. 18 nationally, has served as Duke’s No. 1 singles player all year, going 14-8 overall with a team-best seven wins against nationally ranked foes. He has played every dual match from the top court, going 9-6 there.
