GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following a vote from the league’s Blue Ribbon Panel, the 2016-17 All-ACC women’s basketball teams were released Tuesday with the high-scoring Duke University duo of Lexie Brown and Rebecca Greenwell earning All-ACC first team and rookie Leaonna Odom earning All-ACC freshman team accolades.
Brown and Greenwell become the 19th and 20th Blue Devils in school history to receive All-ACC first team distinction.
Joining Brown and Greenwell on the 10-member first team were Shakayla Thomas (FSU), Myisha Hines-Allen (Louisville), Lindsay Allen (Notre Dame), Brianna Turner (Notre Dame), Alexis Peterson (Syracuse), Leticia Romero (Florida State, Asia Durr (Louisville) and Brittney Sykes (Syracuse).
