Arguably the most important recruit for Duke Basketball headed into next season will be a Blue Devils in the 2019-2020 season. No, it’s not an incoming freshman but a sophomore by the name of Tre Jones. Jones, despite being the younger brother of a former Duke great and current NBA player, has made his own name in Duke lore as being a lockdown defender and a floor general who averaged 5.3 assists in his freshman season. Jones also averaged 9.4 points and 1.9 steals a game. The one piece that has alluded Duke over the past several seasons is a consistent presence at the point guard spot.
