ORLANDO, Fla. – The top-ranked Duke women’s golf team opened the 2015-16 campaign in Orlando, Fla., at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate over the last three days and concluded the 54-hole event in fourth place at the Reunion Resort’s 6,245-yard, par 72 Watson Course.
After opening the tournament with an 11-under-par ledger Sunday, the Blue Devils closed the final 36 holes with a three-over-par score to drop from second to fourth place. Duke registered 18 birdies in the first round and combined for a total of 23 over the final two days. Southern California shot an impressive three-day score of 36-under-par, 828, to claim the team title.
