DURHAM – Sophomore Alex Mooney and freshman James Tallon and Andrew Fischer were named to All-ACC teams on Monday afternoon.
Mooney, the 6-foot-1 shortstop, was named to the All-ACC First Team as a shortstop, after an impressive sophomore campaign for the Blue Devils. The Rochester Hills, Mich., native started all 54 regular season games for Duke this season, posting a .336 average at the plate. Mooney tallied 73 hits, 27 for extra bases, and collected 38 RBI.
