CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Three Duke Blue Devils - men's track and field senior Michael Bennett, field hockey senior Grace Norair and women's lacrosse junior Sydney Smith - have been announced as representatives on the Atlantic Coast Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2024-25 academic year.
All three are veterans in serving on the Duke SAAC with at least three years of commitment apiece and they have each participated in the Duke Athletics Leadership Enrichment and Development (L.E.A.D.) Retreat.
Bennett currently holds the position of vice president with Duke SAAC, having worked as the chair of the team relations subcommittee last year.
