Duke’s win over UNC Sunday was the Blue Devil’s seventh in eight tries, 11th in 14 games. This is from a team that was 7-8 on January 9th after blowing an eight-point lead with 4 minutes left in a 66-63 loss to Virginia that left Duke 1-3 in the ACC.
That was Duke’s fifth straight loss and the season was on life support. No one—present company included—could rationally have envisioned a regular season that ended 12-6 in the ACC, 18-11 overall.
What changed?
