The SEC has dominated the ACC lately

Good thing there’s no such event as an ACC-SEC Challenge.

This season that would be a relief in football, as usual, but also in men’s basketball.

During the regular season, ACC football teams won a mere two of seven meetings with Southeastern Conference foes. Both victories, by Clemson and North Carolina, came against South Carolina. At the other end of fortune’s pendulum Florida beat both Miami and Florida State, in-state ACC rivals.

Don’t forget Louisville losing to Kentucky and Georgia Tech to Georgia in another set of intra-state contests. And of course in a game that doubtless would have looked different had Daniel Jones not skipped his final year of eligibility, Duke got smoked by Alabama.
