Dear Jacki,
As you come to the end of your fabulous career at Duke, I thought I would try to write about all you've accomplished. After all, you were instrumental in the growth and flowering of women's athletics, at Duke and nationally. You've been a highly respected coach, advisor, instructor and administrator. Most importantly, you've been a guide, mentor, and a friend to literally generations of students and co-workers, all of whom have benefited immeasurably from your wisdom and your warmth. I realized, however, that I couldn't possibly enumerate and explain your endless accomplishments in the brief scope of a letter.
