DURHAM, N.C. -- Ten of Duke's intercollegiate athletic programs were honored Tuesday with NCAA Public Recognition Awards. The awards are presented annually to teams finishing among the top 10 percent of their respective sport based on the most recent multiyear Academic Performance Rate (APR).
The most recent APRs are multiyear rates based on scores from the 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.
Duke's 10 programs that received the honor include men's golf, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's fencing, women's soccer, women's swimming & diving, women's tennis, women's track & field and women's volleyball.
