NEW YORK – This year's NBA All-Star Weekend will feature a pair of former Duke men's basketball standouts, as Luke Kennard is set to participate in the MTN DEW 3-Point Contest on Saturday, Feb. 19 before Jayson Tatum starts for Team Durant in the 71st NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 20.
Tatum will make his third straight All-Star Game appearance and first start, as the Boston Celtics forward was selected by team captain Kevin Durant in the NBA All-Star Draft on Feb. 10. Duke has now boasted 30 all-time NBA All-Star selections since 1969, including 25 from players coached by Mike Krzyzewski.
