TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays named former Blue Devil RHP Marcus Stroman the starting pitcher for Tuesday night’s America League Wild Card game versus the Baltimore Orioles at the Rogers Centre.
After a slow start to the season, Stroman settled in over the later portion of the schedule. In 11 starts since Aug. 1, Stroman compiled a 3.28 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .658 OPS. For the season, Stroman owned a 4.37 ERA over 204.0 innings.
