DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke baseball standout Marcus Stroman and the New York Yankees begin their postseason run on Saturday, October 5, facing off against the Kansas City Royals in the ALDS.
Stroman holds a career record of 1-1 in five starts. He has worked 30.2 innings in the postseason, striking out 21 batters.
The Medford, New York, native has accumulated 9.026 years of service time in the big leagues, making his MLB Debut in 2014 with the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2017 Stroman won the Gold Glove and was named an All-Star in 2019.
