MERCIA, Spain— Duke sophomore Azurá Stevens and the USA Basketball U19 World Championship team have arrived in Mercia, Spain and is getting set to play in the Spain U19 International Invitational prior to heading to Russia for the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship from July 18-26, 2015.
The USA Basketball U19 World Championship squad will practice in Spain July 10-11, before kicking off the exhibition schedule Sunday, July 12 against Australia. The USA team will then face Canada July 13 and Spain July 14, before heading to Chekhov, Russia.
