DURHAM, N.C.— Duke University incoming freshman Ella Stevens is heading to Hollywood for the 14th annual Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year ceremony.
Stevens, who hails from Grayson, Ga., is one of six finalists for the 2015-16 Gatorade Female High School Athlete of the Year. Other finalists include Khalia Lanier (Volleyball), Katie Rainsberger (Cross Country), Erin Boley (Basketball), Madilyn Nickles (Softball) and Sydney McLaughlin (Track & Field).
The winner of the prestigious award will be announced at a dinner Tuesday, July 12 in Hollywood, which will be emceed by ESPN NBA Countdown Host Sage Steele.
