DURHAM, N.C.—Duke exploded for four goals in the opening 45 minutes en route to a 4-1 victory over Coastal Carolina to close out exhibition men’s soccer action. Daniele Proch had a brace, while rookie Scotty Taylor netted his first career score before storms rolled through the area and led to calling the game in the 52nd minute.
The Blue Devils took control right off the opening whistle, dominating time of possession. Moving the ball with ease all over the field, Duke was looking to attack from both of the wings.
