The Duke Football team was dealt some more bad news on Thursday evening as the team announced that starting linebacker Koby Quansah suffered a broken right thumb in practice.
Quansah under went surgery on Friday and will be out ‘indefinitely’.
The Blue Devils only have days left to the start of the season when Duke heads down to Atlanta, Georgia to face the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game at 3:30pm EST on ABC.
Quansah was just named a captain for the 2019 season by head coach David Cutcliffe and was ready to fill the shoes of the former dynamic linebacking duo of Joe Giles-Harris and Ben Humphreys.
