DURHAM, N.C. – After a second-straight season of dominating in the circle in conference play, sophomore Peyton St. George was tabbed All-ACC Second Team on Tuesday, the league announced.
This is St. George’s second honor, as she was named ACC All-Freshman Team last season. St. George joins teammate Raine Wilson as the two All-ACC honorees in Duke softball history, as Wilson was named to the first team last season.
A native of Mechanicsville, Va., St. George turned in a 1.83 ERA in ACC play, which finished fourth in the league.
