DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe handed out his yearly spring football awards on Saturday, highlighting five Blue Devils for their outstanding performances during the spring period.
On offense, rising senior running back Shaun Wilson and rising redshirt sophomore wide receiver Aaron Young shared most improved player accolades. Last fall, Wilson led the Blue Devils with 623 rushing yards and 51.92 yards per game. Wilson added four rushing touchdowns and caught eight passes for 76 yards. Young finished with 11 receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns in his debut season.
