THE GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Racing in front of his home fans, Steven Solomon finished in seventh place in the 400m final of the Commonwealth Games on Tuesday in Carrara Stadium.
In the final, Solomon, a graduate student on the Duke track and field team, raced to a time of 45.64 to finish in seventh place. It is the best finish individual finish for Solomon at the international level since taking the bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Championships.
