DURHAM, N.C. – With only a few more top moments left of the 2020 season, Duke softball announces its third-best moment of the shortened year.
MOMENT NO. 3 | OFFENSIVE SURGE VS. RUTGERS
In Duke's 22-1 five-inning victory over Rutgers in the Big 10/ACC Challenge, the Blue Devils broke numerous team records such as hits (18), doubles (6), runs scored (22), runs per inning (10) and runs batted in (21). Individually, freshman Kamryn Jackson had a career-high 3-for-3 performance with a school record seven RBI.
By the second inning of the contest, every Duke starter had at least one hit as the Blue Devils racked up 10 runs in the first frame.
