DURHAM, N.C.—For the third time this season, Duke has earned a pair of ACC weekly honors as junior midfielder Brad Smith and sophomore defenseman JT Giles-Harris were voted the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. This is the first honor for Smith and the second for Giles-Harris.
Smith earned his weekly recognition after scoring a career-high six points from four goals and two assists in leading the third-ranked Blue Devils past No. 6 Loyola 13-9. The Mountain Lakes, N.J., native kept the Blue Devils close in the first two quarters, scoring each of Duke’s first three goals.
