PALM CITY, Fla. -- Improving on yesterday’s two-over round, Duke found itself under-par in Monday’s second round of the Valspar Collegiate Championship, shooting a collective 282 (-2) to push their overall score to even.

Despite going two-under on the day, the Blue Devils found themselves in sixth at the conclusion of the round, dropping a spot from yesterday where they finished with a share of fifth.

No. 1 Oklahoma State continued its dominance in day two, expanding its lead to 12 strokes over Baylor, who jumped to second after finishing Sunday in fourth.

Duke’s low-man of the day was Alex Smalley, who carded five birdies and a long bogey to give himself a score of 67 (-4).
