DURHAM, N.C. – Freshman Amelia Shunk of the No. 17 Duke rowing team was named the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week, after captaining the V4 boat that made history at the ACC Championship over the weekend in Clemson, S.C.
Shunk and the V4 boat won the gold medal on Saturday with a time of 7:22.300, Duke’s first goal medal at the ACC Championship in school history.
