NEW LONDON, N.C. – Duke sophomore Jake Shuman saved the best round of a stellar ACC Championship performance for last, shooting 67 (-5) on Sunday to finish in a tie for second at the Old North State Club. The No. 20 Duke men’s golf team shot 289 (+1) as a team on Sunday and finished in fifth place.
The Blue Devils finished the tournament with a total of 865 (+1). Clemson claimed the conference title with a score of 839 (-25).
Shuman was nearly flawless on Sunday, rolling in six birdies and recording just one bogey.
