VANDOEUVRES, Switzerland – Duke women's golf rising senior Erica Shepherd turned in a 3-1 record over three days of competition in Vandoeuvres, Switzerland, but the United States dropped a 33-27 decision to the International squad at the Golf Club de Geneve.
Shepherd, a native of Greenwood, Ind., opened the event with three straight wins to help position the United States with an 18-18 tie heading into Sunday's singles.
On Friday, Shepherd teamed with Sam Bennett in mixed fourball and put the first point on the board for the event by defeating Alexandra Forsterling and Ludvig Åberg, 1UP.
