DURHAM, N.C. – The summer golf tour for Duke incoming freshman Erica Shepherd continues this week as the two-time United States Golf Association (USGA) champion has accepted a sponsor’s exemption for the LPGA Marathon Classic, which will be played July 10-14 at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
The tournament will feature 144 golfers competing over 72 holes of action. Following 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 70 and ties. The course will be playing par 6,561 yards at par 71.
