FRANKFORT, Ill. – Duke University women's golf rising sophomore Erica Shepherd will return to the course this week as she competes in the Women's Western Amateur Championship, which will take place July 21-25 at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort, Ill.
The field of 120 golfers will compete in stroke play on Tuesday and Wednesday, before cutting the field to 32 for match play. On Thursday, July 23, the round of 32 and 16 of match play will take place, followed by the quarterfinals and semifinals on Friday. The championship match will take place Saturday, July 25.
