BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— Duke University sophomore Erica Shepherd traveled to her home state of Indiana this week and once again hoisted a trophy as the Blue Devil sophomore claimed the Golfweek Hoosier Amateur by seven strokes at The Pfau Course at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
Shepherd is from Greenwood, Ind., which is located only 45 minutes from Bloomington, and collected her second tournament title in her home state since June as she also won the Indiana Women's State Amateur Championship in Indianapolis, Ind., on June 12.
"This course really tested my game and I feel good about how I played," said Shepherd.
