DURHAM, N.C. – The senior breaststroke tandem of Peter Kropp and Dylan Payne received invitations to the 2017 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships March 22-25 in Indianapolis. Kropp was selected to the NCAA field for the third consecutive season while Payne will make his first NCAA Championships appearance.
Sophomore diver Evan Moretti has also secured a spot at the NCAA Championships in men’s one and three-meter springboard diving, with additional qualifications coming later today pending results of the NCAA Zone Diving Championships.
Kropp was selected to represent Duke in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke for the third time in his career after garnering All-ACC honors at the 100-yard distance with a second-place finish at the 2017 ACC Championships.
