DURHAM, N.C. – The ACC announced that redshirt freshman 174-pounder Mason Eaglin will be Duke wrestling's highest seed heading into the ACC Championships in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Eaglin earned the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 Vic Marcelli of Virginia in his opening bout. These two have already met once before this season with Eaglin earning a fall 2:42 into the match back on Feb. 14. Two wins in the tournament will earn the Port Orchard, Wash., native one of the four automatic bids to the NCAA Championships.
