DURHAM, N.C. - Following Friday's announcement of Zac Roper as Duke's new Baxter Family Associate Head Coach and offensive coordinator, Blue Devil Network's Dave Harding talked with Roper and Blue Devil head coach David Cutcliffe.
Roper has been a part of the Duke staff since Cutcliffe arrived for the 2008 season. Roper has seen his roles change throughout his time in Durham, moving from running backs coach (2008-12) to tight ends coach (2013-15) while being an assistant special teams coordinator (2008-12) and special teams coordinator (2013-15).
Roper will welcome six offensive starters back to the fold in 2016 as Duke finished the 2015 campaign with an 8-5 record and 44-41 overtime victory against Indiana in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.
