DURHAM – Duke women's basketball incoming freshman Arianna Roberson and the USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team capped an exceptional week of play at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup with an 80-69 victory over Canada in the gold medal game Sunday evening at Coliseo Bicentenario in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
With the win, the United States improved to 71-2 all-time in FIBA U18 competition and picked up its 11th consecutive gold medal dating back to 2000, and 12th title overall. The U.S. finished the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup with an unblemished 6-0 record and won each of its games by an average of 67.
