The R.J. Barrett slander is getting quieter and quieter as the NBA Summer League progresses.
Barrett went for his second straight double-double as the New York Knicks routed the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
About 24 hours removed from dropping 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Raptors, Barrett and the Knicks took the floor against the Purple and Gold and started the rout from the first quarter.
The No. 3 overall pick went for a Summer League career high 21 points in addition to 10 rebounds, three assists, and a steal with once again only one turnover in a team-high 29 minutes.
