DURHAM – Duke men's golf senior Quinn Riley birdied five consecutive holes on the front nine and played bogey free, earning one of five qualifying spots during a local qualifier for the 2022 U.S. Open on Tuesday at the Duke University GC in Durham.
This same week, the senior from Raleigh rose to No. 1 in the collegiate rankings for Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Tour, which is a non-profit organization with the mission to prepare African Americans and other minority golfers to compete and win at the highest level of professional golf.
