Remember a while back when former UNC star Rick Fox, now involved with an e-sports team, accused a partner of of sending a racist e-mail? It was a bit jarring to say the least.
Well things are now more jarring still: Fox has sued his team, Echo Fox, for millions, claiming multiple instances of fraud. His partners, for their part, are trying to remove him from the business and one’s attorney, David Swift, had this to say about the former UNC star:
“Rick Fox’s lawsuit is a transparent attempt to divert attention from the train wreck he left behind at Echo Fox, where Rick Fox’s self-dealing and grossly inept management cost investors many millions of dollars and dozens of people their jobs.
