Rice Nets Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Accolades

DURHAM, N.C. – Lauren Rice, a 2000 Duke women's basketball graduate, is one of 18 women that have been named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame's 2021 Silver Anniversary Team.

The recognition is based on outstanding accomplishments as a senior basketball player 25 years ago.

A native of Peru, Ind., was a four-year letterwinner with the Blue Devils from 1996-2000. She closed her career helping lead Duke to its first ACC Championship in 2000 and guided the Blue Devils to their first NCAA Final Four appearance in 1999. The 6-1 forward scored 790 points, pulled down 606 rebounds and had 132 steals over her Duke career in 126 games.
